Rent a Car in New Orleans

A few years back, my husband went to New Orleans after he retired from the U.S. Navy. He wanted to see the place, and maybe find work. He said the place was alive and hopping. He went in the fall so he missed Mardi Gras.

However, the pubs were lively. He could walk down the street and listen to the jazz musicians. He even went to the graveyards to see where people were buried above ground. It was quite a place.

Of course, if you are going there for a vacation, you can rent a car in new orleans. Personally, when I go on a vacation, I leave my car at home and rent one. It keeps all that wear and tear off my car.

Actually, when we were living in Panama City, Panama, we would come up to the U.S. to buy clothes, shop for electronics, and enjoy a vacation without the humidity. In Panama, we had ten to twelve feet per year. I have never seen such humidity, even when we lived in Florida.

One time we rented a convertible mustang. Unfortunately, when we reached our destination the mustangs were all leased. We did get a convertible, I think a Dodge, and we still enjoyed the feel of the wind through our hair...

So if you have a chance to go to New Orleans, rent a car, and enjoy the scenery. Personally, I would be hunting down stories of Vodouns... just for my book, ya know!
