I am still here

Sorry friends...

I have been around, but not on this site. Recently, I started doing some volunteer work for Helium. I have over 180 essays from book reviews to memoirs. Also, I am a poetry steward on this site. It is keeping me very busy. BTW Helium is offering an upfront payment for articles written for their site. Religion, Recipes, Creative Writing, and other subjects are not offered upfront payments. If you like to do article type writing, this site has some great opportunities in their Marketplace, Contest writing, and Citizen Pulitzer prize. I don't make much because most of my writing is in the CW area, but some people do well there.

On another note, my husband bought me a Wii for my birthday. It has been a really fun experience and it keeps me occupied. Exercise equals interactive games.

The weather is good in Nevada. We have had some long Indian summers, which are getting ready to finish. By tomorrow we will have snow flurries until Tuesday. And yes, we expect it to get really really cold.

As for my health, I am seeing my doctor every six months now. I am doing well on the medications and my kidneys are happy.

My new resolution for the year is to bring back more information on WG on this site. And, post some of my creative writing on the other site. And, I will be doing more writing for my Amateur radio club.
